- How can I find out if my favorite villa is still available ?
There is an availability calender at the bottom of the villa description. If the villa shows an “on request” button, please don't hesitate to contact us via Email at office@villascc.com or give us a call (+49 8670 986823). We're more than happy to assist you, making your Florida dream vacation come true.
- What are the rates ?
At the end of the villa description you will find rates based on guests traveling and the cost for cleaning. A 6.5% sales tax and 5% tourist tax applies to every rate. In most cases electricity is billed upon usage. Please read the villa description for details. A refundable security deposit also applies.
- How to book your dream villa ?
We kindly ask you to fill out the booking form on our homepage at www.cape-coral.rentals
We will send you a booking confirmation via Email with further details.
- Do I have to sign the booking confirmation ?
No. By submitting your down payment you are accepting the terms and conditions of the rental and the booking procedure.
- Do I rent the property from the owner ?
The rental contract is between you and the owner of the villa or the boat. LVCC is the agent that facilitates the contract between both parties.
- What's the time frame for submitting the down payment ?
When you receive our booking confirmation you have 8 days for submitting a 30% down payment on the full rate. If you're booking is less than 50 days from your arrival we require the full payment within a 5 days time frame as it is considered a last-minute-booking.
- When is my final payment due ?
You will receive an invoice from us approx. 50 days prior to your booking date stating your final payment due. Your final payment is due 30 days prior to your booking date. A specific due date is shown on the invoice.
- How do I know if my payment was received ?
In order to track the payment process you'll receive a link that we send you with your booking confirmation including the next steps. You can track the status of the booking process at any time.
- How much is the security deposit ?
The amount of the security deposit depends on the size of your dream villa. You may find the amount at the bottom of every villa description. In case of a long-term rental a higher security deposit is required.
- How to submit the security deposit ?
You may either submit the security deposit with the final payment or you might transfer the deposit in Euro to our German bank account
- How do I get my security deposit back ?
After we receive the information from the property management about the energy consumption as well as any damages that may have occurred during your stay, we will send you the final billing status about your security deposit and the amount that will be refunded. Please allow 14 days after departure for processing.
If the security deposit was paid in US$ we will mail you a check over the remaining security deposit
- Do I need travel cancellation insurance ?
A travel insurance/cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
- What happens if I need to cancel my booking ?
If you cancel until 50 days prior to your arrival the cancellation fee is the security deposit (30% of the net rental price).
From 50 days until the arrival date the cancellation fee is 100% of the rental rate. Upon request you will receive a cancellation confirmation in order to submit it to your travel cancellation insurance.
- What happens if the villa is being sold during my rental period ?
The majority of the villas in our portfolio are bought with the intent to host vacation rentals. In the unlikely event that a villa is being sold, a new owner usually wants to honor the existing bookings.
- What happens if the villa is no longer available although I have a reservation ?
The owner grants the unconditional availability of the villa during your reserved time frame. In the most unlikely event that your villa might be no longer available (for example if the villa is sold and the new owner does not take over the reservations), we will do everything in our power to transfer you into a comparable villa in our portfolio. If you decide not to accept our alternative villa you have the option to cancel the reservation at no cost on your side. All submitted payments will be refunded in full.
- What happens to the pool screen during a storm?
Screens are easily affected by weather related events. As a consequence screens may not be available for extended durations after a storm.
- When is the villa move in-ready ?
On your arrival date you will be able to access the villa at 4 pm. Prior to your arrival you will receive a key-code from us in order to unlock the villa. For your convenience you don't need to make an appointment to receive the keys.
- Is there a check in appointment ?
On your day of arrival you will find a welcome letter in your villa with a suggested check in date and time. If you need to reschedule please call the number on the welcome letter to reach one of our English speaking representatives.
During check in our representatives will explain all the necessary features of the villa and will guide you through your vacation retreat. We will be more than happy to help you with any questions you might have during your stay.
- When does the check out take place ?
On the day of your departure you will be able to stay at least until 10 am. Please schedule a specific check out time with our staff during your check in appointment.
- How will I be billed for energy and gas consumption?
On the day of your arrival we will read the power meter and gas. This will be documented on the check in/check out protocol. The same procedure happens on the day of your departure. With your signature you'll accept the correct reading of the power meter and gas.
The power and gas meters in all of our villas are on the outside of the building and freely accessible to you at any time. This way you will be able to monitor your power and gas usage if necessary.
- Do I have Internet access in the villa ?
Yes you have. All of our villas are equipped with WiFi internet access. However, we do not take responsibility for the availability of the service and have no influence on the service provided by the service provider.
- The villa does have an outdoor fireplace but it does not work, what should I do?
Outdoor fireplaces are only working in dry conditions, they will not operate if there is humidity inside. Please be aware that after a rain or in very humid conditions it will take a few days for the fireplace to dry up internally, this is not a defect.
- What to do if a problem occurs ?
Please contact us immediately when a problem occurs. Complaints made after your stay in our villas can not be taken into account.
As our villas are located in residential neighborhoods neither LVCC nor the owner of the villa can be held responsible for possible construction activities and the noise as part of this activity.
By agreeing to the rental contract you as the renter are accepting this possible disturbance unconditionally. These occurrences don't entitle you to to an adjustment of the rental rate or any other deductions or compensations.
- Can I choose a different villa after booking ?
The rental agreement is between the owner and the customer of LVCC. The change to another villa also means a rental contract with a different owner and must therefor be considered as a new booking. If you still want to change the villa the cancellation fee for the initial booking applies.
